Having been approached by Trelleborg to build their show stand at Lamma 2017, we were delighted to consider various options to fit the brief and budget.
Previously, there was a 5x5m hospitality area with two 5x5m gazebos creating an L shape as can be seen in the photographs below.
The first impression we had was that since this is an outside event in winter, it would be better to have a covered area over all the product display so that if the weather is bad people can take shelter and the product can still be viewed. We also considered a wooden floor for the product area to create a flat clean surface rather than the uneven muddy field of previous years. The product area should also have strong Trelleborg branding and images plus good lighting to highlight each product on stand. Trelleborg are very pro-active with demonstrations and giving solid information regarding how their products can really benefit their customers, so we suggested a demonstration display where the benefits of correct tyres inflation has a dramatic effect on soil compaction.
A larger hospitality area was also foreseen, with glass walls and doors to maintain flow through to the product area and ensure that all personel were visible to visitors of the show, thus encouraging people to come onto the stand. We included carpet, heating, lighting, a TV, Virtual Reality game, Farming Simulator, furniture and a storage room.
Outside we put three 8m flag poles, branding on the gable end and extended the decking floor to create an apealling entrance.
To explain to the client our proposals, we supplied a 3D design of the stand to show what it would look like.
